The Hexagon marketing team is looking for a Marketing Specialist to support Hexagon’s Innovation Hub. The successful candidate must be able to plan and execute hands-on integrated marketing plans. The job is a high-energy, demanding role with tight deadlines. 


The primary responsibility of the candidate will be to help develop marketing plans in alignment with corporate and business goals, and to execute (and coordinate execution) marketing programs. Key objectives include, but are not limited the following:



  • Help develop marketing plans/programs in alignment with business development, product development and sales goals (product launch plans, growth strategies, etc.)
  • Manage, track and report on marketing programs success
  • Continuously monitor and communicate the status of marketing programs, revising the annual plan as needed to adjust for industry conditions and continued alignment with divisional and organizational goals and objectives
  • Establish and manage marketing budget in accordance with plan and guidelines


  • Define and coordinate development of sales and marketing kits/tools (brochures, product sheets, videos, newsletters, presentations, etc.)
  • Coordinate and manage customer interaction to establish reference accounts and case studies, better understand the buying process and provide means for valuable customer feedback
  • Assist in the management of digital initiatives, including web presence, social media, e-mail marketing, blogs, etc
  • Provide planning and execution support for events and tradeshows, including HxGN LIVE
  • Provide support for media initiatives (editorial and paid advertising)
  • Ensure compliance with organizational brand guidelines throughout all divisional marketing programs and supporting materials
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of marketing plan initiatives within budget


  • Work as liaison with internal and external entities
  • Continuously monitor and report on industry trends/developments, including competitive landscape
  • Directly collaborate with/direct globally dispersed divisional marketing team, corporate marketing team and outside vendors /agencies


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a corporate marketing role
  • BA/BS in business, marketing, communications or related field
  • Successful track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Experience in managing and directing multi-national marketing programs is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator required
  • Additional knowledge of Sitecore CMS, HootSuite, Salesforce.com, and Pardot is a plus
