The ideal candidate will provide first impressions for all visitors and employees in the new Hexagon U.S. Global Headquarters located in Huntsville, AL and will operate as the primary support assistant for all reception/concierge functions on a daily basis. They will be responsible for interacting with guests and employees by providing information, services and general administrative tasks on a professional level in a corporate environment  to also include serving as the primary phone switchboard operator.


  • Proven experience in customer service is required along with the ability to demonstrate excellent organizational, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience working as an administrative assistant or receptionist in a corporate environment is required
  • Detail oriented and organized as duties for this opportunity will be ever changing
  • Computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as the ability to learn new applications, is required
  • Candidate will coordinate with other administrative assistants within the organization to book conference rooms for events, training, meetings, etc.
  • Candidate should be confident and resourceful and should possess excellent verbal communication skills
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • An Associate's Degree or coursework completed in Business or another related field is strongly desired
