The UX team works directly with customers in the security, public safety, and utilities and communications industries. Because our customers are the first responders in times of emergency, designing and developing tools that make them successful is exciting and meaningful work.

The UX team includes visual and interaction designers, functional designers, and user researchers working across all product portfolios within our division. • Support the UX team in the development of wireframes and higher fidelity UI designs
  • Support conducting contextual inquiry to gain an understanding of user environments, scenarios, workflows, and tasks
  • Support the UX team in the development of user models, including journey maps, workflows, and cross-product integration stories
  • Work with visual designers, interaction designers, and user researchers to organize, conduct, and evaluate prototype software design through usability testing
  • Research and evaluate emerging trends in interaction and interface design and match those to users’ needs
  • Ensure that design guidelines are maintained and shared with appropriate stakeholders to guide product design and development
