    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will provide technical product support for Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure’s Utilities and Communications suites of products, interface directly with product development and provide solutions to reported problems. The applicant should possess strong analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot and analyze technical problems in complex applications. The applicant will be applying their software programming skills to analyze problems, research the issues, do high-level debugging to provide a resolution, and make software corrections on legacy products. The applicant may be required to travel to the customer site. The applicant must be able to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to achieve resolution of moderate-to-complex technical issues and have strong analytical skills to solve complex problems in a timely manner while adapting to ever-changing priorities.

     

    The applicant will interface directly via telephone or email with North American end-customers and work directly with Hexagon SI regional support teams to provide support to regional offices and partners globally. In addition, the applicant will interface directly with the Development and Services teams on a regular basis. As such, the applicant must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Given the collaborative nature of this role, excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or other related field is required
    • Experience in .NET programming (C++, C#)
    • Basic programming understanding and knowledge in XAML, Java Script, XML, VB Script
    • Oracle database experience a plus
    • Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
