    Responsibilities

    • Drafts and negotiates FFP & T&M subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, partner agreements, MOUs and other related contractual documents
    • Reviews terms and conditions proposed by vendors and customers and amends as needed to include company-preferred contractual provisions
    • Performs activities associated with the administration of subcontracts including negotiation, modification, correspondence, file documentation, certifications, financial reporting, delivery and closeout
    • Solicits vendor responses to and assists in the preparation of proposals in response to RFPs
    • Ensures compliance with company policies, legal requirements and departmental procedures in the performance of daily job requirements
    • Supports the subcontract review process including risk, mitigation and performance gap requirements reviews
    • Develops and enhances supplier relationships serving as the primary contact for both internal and external communications related to the project’s major subcontracts. Fosters a positive and mutually beneficial relationship with suppliers
    • Actively works to support the development of new supplier capabilities. Initiates and supports supplier qualification when new sources are required
    • Drives cost savings and quality improvement projects in an effort to reduce procurement costs and improve responsiveness
    • Works closely with internal customers including executive management, project managers, finance, contracts and proposals teams to ensure contract/subcontract requirements are fulfilled and activities are compliant with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications
    • Possesses solid background and understanding of pertinent procurement regulations and practices
    • Supports other team members with required reporting activities, as applicable
    • Ensures all agreements are written/documented and filed properly for future reference

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (preferably Contracts/Acquisition Management) with 7+ years of directly related contract/subcontract administration experience
    • Advanced degree (desired)
    • Experience negotiating and managing suppliers for compliance, cost, schedule and quality
    • Working knowledge/experience of software and services purchases to include negotiating terms related to intellectual property, licensing, indemnification and liability
    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and adapt to rapidly changing requirements
    • Ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks within the timeframes specified
    • Ability to meet multiple and varied deadlines
    • Excellent organizational skills are required
    • Strong understanding of procurement practices
    • Ability to support multiple organizations and adhere to specified requirements of each
    • Excellent people skills to include collaboration in a multi-disciplinary, diverse and dynamic team environment
    • Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
    • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
    • Working knowledge desired in one or more of the following: Deltek Costpoint, Financial Force Procurement, Microsoft Dynamics GP
    • Professional certifications from ISM, NCMA or other job-related organizations (desired)
