    The Support Engineer will provide technical product support for Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure’s Public Safety Records Management suites of products. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:


    • Interface directly with product development and provide solutions to reported problems
    • Candidate should possess strong analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot and analyze technical problems in complex applications
    • Apply software programming skills to analyze problems, research the issues, perform high-level debugging to provide a resolution, and make software corrections on legacy products
    • Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to achieve resolution of moderate-to-complex technical issues and have strong analytical skills to solve complex problems in a timely manner while adapting to ever-changing priorities
    • Interface directly via telephone or email with North American end-customers and work directly with Hexagon SI regional support teams to provide support to regional offices and partners globally
    • Interface directly with the Development and Services teams on a regular basis; As such, the applicant must be able to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
    • The applicant may be required to travel to the customer site


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or another related field is required
    • Experience in .NET programming (C++, C#)
    • Basic programming understanding and knowledge in XAML, Java Script, XML, VB Script
    • Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server database experience a plus
    • Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
