    Responsibilities

    This position is part of U.S. Public Safety Sales team whose requirements are to generate new business in the Eastern Region. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Hire, Manage, Develop, and Promote the East Region sales team for US Public Safety
    • Maintain the relationship with some of the largest and most important customers in US Public Safety
    • Train sales personnel on selling methodologies and skills including prospecting, qualifying, priorities, proposals, presentations, and negotiations
    • Monitor personnel activity and pipeline
    • Work closely with services, finance, legal and executive teams to finalize your team’s proposals and close business
    • Identify and promote top performers
    • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, etc.
    • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
    • Preferred candidate location: East Coast

    Qualifications

    • A completed Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field is preferred 
    • Minimum of 7 years executive software sales experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience
    • Preferred Minimum of 5 years working in the Public Safety industry, or the State and Local Government industry
    • Must have knowledge of sales methodologies and processes
    • Demonstrated skills in managing multiple remote sales personnel
    • Experience with monitoring and measuring a sales organization
    • Must display self-confidence and a motivation for sales
    • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills especially Presentation Skills
    • Demonstrated experience with managing client relationships
    • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
